  • Why should I book directly on this website?

    Booking direct means you're dealing with us, rather than a third-party booking app, which means a better rate for you and full control over your booking.

  • What are your check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:00 am.

  • Can I check in early or check out late?

    May be possible – please call reception to discuss. Dependent on availability.

  • What if I arrive outside reception hours?

    If you think you’ll likely be arriving outside reception hours (8am – 7pm), please call ahead. Otherwise, an after-hours number is displayed outside reception for assistance.

  • Is parking free?

    Yes. Free off-street parking is available for all guests. We also have dedicated truck and coach parking on-site.

  • Are the rooms non-smoking?

    Yes. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms at Southern Skies Motel. A $500 cleaning fee applies if smoking occurs inside the room.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    Yes. Free Wi-Fi is provided in every room and throughout the property.

  • Do rooms have TVs?

    Yes. Each room has a 65 inch flat-screen TV with free to air channels or secure streaming from your personal device.

  • Do the rooms have a kitchenette?

    Every room has a small kitchenette with microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. Please note that there is no cooktop or oven in the rooms.

  • Do you offer breakfast?

    Breakfast is not offered at the motel.

  • Is there a BBQ?

    Yes. An on-site BBQ is available for guest use. Please see the reception for utensils, etc.

  • Is there somewhere for the kids to play?

    Yes. There is a small play area on-site as well as the Kids' Park playground directly across the road.

  • Is there a swimming pool?

    Not at the motel, but the Blayney Multipurpose Sports Centre has a heated indoor pool that's open year-round, and it's just a short walk away.

  • Are all the rooms on the ground floor?

    Yes, all 21 rooms are on the ground floor level, with no stairs to climb.

  • Can I add an extra bed or cot?

    You are welcome to bring your own cot at no extra charge. Unfortunately, additional beds cannot be added to your booked room; however, we do offer twin rooms (which sleep up to 3 guests) or family rooms (which can sleep up to five guests).

  • Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately,  pets aren't permitted at Southern Skies Motel. Service and assistance animals are always welcome and are exempt from fees and restrictions.

  • Do you have accessible rooms?

    All of our rooms are at ground level, with no stairs to navigate.

  • Can you accommodate trucks or coaches?

    Yes. We have dedicated truck and coach parking on-site. Long-haul drivers and tour-group bookings are very welcome.
